In a recent interview with CNN, Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto spoke about swordplay in the Legend of Zelda and how it has evolved over the time. Swordplay has always been an essential part of the Legend of Zelda series, but it has changed considerably over time. It started with just straight jabs from the first game, to directly sword slashes in the 3d console games, to now having close to 1:1 motion controls. Here is part of what Miyamoto said
