WB Moves Forward With More 'Lord of the Rings' Films But Won't
Today, Warner Brothers, alongside Embracer Group Sweden, announced that a new slew of Middle-Earth films will be put into the works under WB executives Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy. They will report directly to Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav. This comes after the Tolkien Estate sold a majority of the rights to the Swedish gaming company. “We understand how cherished these works are and working together with our partners at New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures, we plan to honor the past, look to the future, and adhere to the strongest level of quality and production values,”
